fighting drunks, dopers, the deranged and others who tolerate pain There is a truth in the world of hand-to-hand combat that too many martial artists aren't aware of or refuse to believe: Every time you discover a sure-thing technique, one that makes all your training partners groan and writhe in agony, there exists out there in the mean streets, a host of people who won’t feel it. People like these: • Attackers with large muscle bulk or large fat bulk • Attackers intoxicated on alcohol • Attackers under the influence of drugs • Attackers out of control with rage • Attackers who are mentally deranged • Attackers who feel pain but like it This book isn't about working out with a training partner - it's about surviving a desperate street attack against a nightmare who doesn't acknowledge what you thought was your best shot. Best selling martial arts author Loren W. Christensen's service as a military policeman during the Vietnam War, his 25 years as a street cop, and his training in the martial arts since 1965 have provided him with real-world experience dealing with violent people, especially those who have a high tolerance to pain. Loren shows you dozens of tried-and-true, step-by-step techniques that target specific parts of the body that will disorient a pain-resistant assailant, destroy his will, and disable his physical ability to keep attacking. Reviewer: Papa Brehuescu Delia Mihaela from Italy I'm Michela from Italy and I've read your book "FIGHTING THE PAIN RESISTANT ATTACKER". It's really cool! It's funny, too, with lots of stories. It treats the vital points in an easy to learn manner and includes applications. It changed my point of view on self-defense. I'm impatient to see / read the next DVD or book I'm going to buy. I'm not sure which one as there are a few I'm interested in. As soon as I finish Kim Sang's book "Vital Points Striking".
